The New York Census Research Data Center will be holding its 3rd Annual Data Workshop on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the School of Public Affairs, Baruch College, CUNY in New York City.
The Center for Social and Demographic Analysis (CSDA) will be videoconferencing the workshop here on the SUNY main campus, videoconference room, HU-290 (Humanities Building).
The meeting will present information about the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) data files including the linked birth death files; NHANES, etc. These are not the public use data files. They also contain individual identifiers and other restricted data. These files can be available to UAlbany researchers through CSDA’s association with the New York Census Research Data Center (NYCRDC).
The workshop is free and open to the public but registration is required. If you are interested in attending, please email Linda Lawrence at llawrenc@albany.edu. Please note in your email message which sessions you would like to attend. If you would prefer to attend the workshop at Baruch College, please contact us as well.
